Everyone knows the disconnect - but few acknowledge it and the reasons for that are both benign and malignant. I&#039;m more worried about the former.</description>

For me, it illustrates the disconnect that is often present, but rarely shown, between the image that events like this try to transmit and the deeper dynamics that exist behind the speeches. Interesting to see those two things collide!</description>
